The Sound of Music to Fill the
Halls of the High School

Show times are 7:00 p.m. on February 9-10,
and 2:00 p.m. on February 11.
Seats for all three shows are reserved
and are $10 each. You can purchase

Kindergarten Registration...Mark your Calendars!
Registration for fall 2012 kindergarten
classes will be held in each elementary
school of the West Genesee Central
School District during the entire week
of February 13-16 between 9:30 a.m. and
2:30 p.m.
Parents should register their children
at the school within their regular
attendance area. West Genesee elementary
schools are East Hill (487-4648),
Onondaga Road (487-4653), Split Rock
(487-4656), and Stonehedge (487-4633).
If you are not sure which school your
child should attend, contact the
Transportation Department at 487-4576.
Call the school prior to registration so
your name may be placed on a mailing
list to receive information regarding
kindergarten registration and screening.

Students are Scientific at WGMS Fair
|
|
On January 20, West
Genesee Middle School students displayed Science
Fair projects that explained the results of
their research to their fellow students, to
judges, and to their families who came in the
evening to view the exhibits. Each project was
judged on the uniqueness of the problem, how
well the hypothesis could be tested, design and
procedures of the experiment, and how
appropriately the materials and equipment were
used to carry out the testing.
This year's fair had 106 students making 60
projects; 44 students were entered in the category
for Human Sensory Perception, Psychology, Health
and Consumer Studies; 45 were about Biology,
Chemistry, and Earth Science; and 17 were entered
under Mathematics, Space, Physics, and
Engineering.
